The Arts Center of Mississippi is administrative and rehearsal home to nine arts organizations of wide ranging diversity and disciplines, from GJAC's offices and programming spaces to statewide performing arts groups, cultural exhibitors, and special needs advocates for creative expression.
Ballet Mississippi – For 50 years, Ballet Mississippi has been the premier ballet company in metro Jackson. The company brings professional dancers and performances to the city and provides students with a pre-professional training program focusing on classical ballet technique.

Crossroads Film Festival – Hosted in Jackson each year in April, the Crossroads Film Festival celebrates the art of filmmaking in all of its diversity and depth. The Crossroads Film Society facilitates and promotes a broader spectrum of film and video for the community and presents and honors films and videos related to Mississippi and the South. The Society also provides educational opportunities for film lovers and aspiring filmmakers.

International Museum of Muslim Cultures – The International Museum of Muslim Cultures celebrates and educates the public about the contributions Muslims have made to the city of Jackson, the state of Mississippi, the region, the nation and the world. The museum describes the Muslim experience and places it in context with other cultural and religious groups and strives to facilitate multicultural and interfaith tolerance.

Mississippi Symphony Orchestra – The largest professional performing arts organization in the state, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra performs on its home stage at Jackson’s Thalia Mara Hall and statewide as well. The MSO also supports three youth orchestras and an education program where over 500 school children receive daily instruction in violin, viola and cello.

VSA Mississippi – Established in 1978, VSA Mississippi is dedicated to artists with disabilities and is advocates a society where people with disabilities can learn through, participate in, and enjoy the arts. VSA Mississippi involves thousands of people annually in arts education, community arts, and professional development programs. VSA is an affiliate of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
USA International Ballet Competition – Every four years the dance world comes to Jackson as America’s official international ballet competition takes place. Held in Jackson since 1979, USA IBC remains one of the oldest and most respected dance competitions and showcases in the world.
